We thought about leaving Thursday, but it rained all day.
So we planned to leave Friday, but it rained all day.
On Saturday, we covered the sticker that says:
"Silly Yuppie, trailers are for boats"
and the one that says:
"If you see this bike on a truck, dial 911; it is being stolen."
We then stuck our tails between our legs and loaded the bike onto the truck, in the rain.
As we headed south the 850 miles to South Carolina, it rained so hard at times,
that it was hard to keep the truck on the road.
I started to think that hauling the bike was probably not such a bad idea.
We had great weather most of the week in Myrtle Beach.
Meanwhile, it continued to rain so hard in Massachusetts, that they declared a state of emergency.
Since it was our first time in Myrtle Beach for Bike Week, we wanted to see everything, and I think we did.
Below are some of the pictures.
If you were there and saw anything that we missed, email us a picture, and maybe we will add it to the collection.
Pictures are by Val of Z&Z Cycles, and Doug and Diane of Barnstorm Cycles.
