Doug's Boss

Jake may be the president of Barnstorm Cycles and Diane may occasionally tell me what to do, but my real boss is the one I ride. It is a 2003 Boss Hoss with a Chevy 350 V8. The bike is a blast to ride, although definitely not a beginner's motorcycle. I have over 18,000 miles on it and love to ride it. Even though I think everyone should be riding a Barnstorm Cycles custom built motorcycle, if you are interested in more information on the Boss Hoss, below are a few links you may find helpful.

This picture was taken at Sturgis 2005. The Boss Hoss Factory was providing demo rides at Thunder Road. I had asked them to check something out on the bike. As you can see in the picture, they were very responsive. Here is the link to their web site:

Sitting on the showroom floor at Daytona Boss Hoss of Daytona Beach, FL. I could hear it calling my name.

Since I rode the bike up from Florida and its home is now in Massachusetts, Stamford Boss Hoss in Connecticutt is the closest dealer to me. Debbie and Bruce are very knowledgeable and have been very helpful, even when I call them from the middle of the country with a question. If you are in the area, they are the people to see about a Boss Hoss.

The Boss at Weirs Beach in Laconia, 2003. We always stop in to see New England Boss Hoss of Bennington, Vermont each year at the Weirs. If you go to Laconia or are around Bennington, Vermont, check out the bikes they have on display.

We met Ron and Cindy of Wildrose Boss Hoss at Thunder Road in Sturgis. They were set up across from the Boss Hoss factory trailer. Ron was a wealth of information about the Boss Hosses and they had some beautiful bikes on display. Wildrose Boss Hoss is located in Warren, Oregon.

Somewhere in Ohio

I have ridden the bike in 23 of the 50 states so far and have had an opportunity to meet several of the dealers. Everyone of them has been great.

Taken in Illinois sometime after leaving Chicago Boss Hoss and heading west.

Remind me not to park my 350 next to a 502 again.
It made me feel so small and inadequate!
